A new version of CenceMe for your
iPhone has been released! Install it from App Store. This
version includes new exciting features and improvements over the previous release:
- You can take photos that are directly uploaded to your Facebook album and
see your buddies' photos on your phone too;
- More IconMe icons;
- IconMe messages can be used as the main Facebook Status;
- Faster maps;
- Info message board where you can find the latest CenceMe news and
software updates directly on the phone;
- New look and features for the CenceMe box on your Facebook Profile page.
August 27, 2008:
We want to inform all our users that possible intermittent service
interruption might be experienced today and the next few days due to CenceMe servers software update.
The reason is that we are preparing the ground for a new exciting release of the iPhone CenceMe
software and temporary server failures might occur in this transition phase.
We apologize for the inconvenience, we are working to make your CenceMe
experience even more enjoyable. CenceMe 1.1.0 coming up...
July 24, 2008:
Just a heads up for all our users: we will be releasing CenceMe 1.1, a new
version of the social sensing application you already know and love, in
mid-August. Keep an eye out for the update on App Store (it will be announced
here too). We'll be including a couple new features we just know you'll like.

July 20, 2008:
Amazon Web Services™ (AWS) experienced a serious service interruption
starting mid-day on July 20th and lasting until about 8:30PM EDT impacting
CenceMe (and many others). In particular, CenceMe presence updates traveling
from the iPhone™ to Facebook™ in many cases were lost during this
time. AWS Support worked internally to correct the issues, and a log of their
status updates can be found on the AWS Service Health Dashboard.
July 17, 2008:
Facebook™ Platform experienced intermittent service interruptions starting
mid-afternoon EDT on July 17th and lasting until early evening EDT on July 18th
that impacted CenceMe (and many other applications that interface with
Facebook). Specifically, CenceMe maps on the iPhone and the CenceMe widget on
Facebook™ often failed to render and updates to buddy lists were often
slow to occur. Facebook Platform Developer Operations and Support worked to
address the issue in cooperation with various affected application development
teams until the issue was resolved. For more information, see the

July 17, 2008:
A new CenceMe presence page has
been added to the CenceMe experience on Facebook™. The new page is fully
integrated with the Facebook™ environment and displays a mapped view of location.
The page is accessible via a new link on the CenceMe Facebook™ widget.

CenceMe has been approved and is
available for iPhone™ 2.0 now.
